Procrastination

I am now using tumbler to pass the time, wow, the tables have turned. I am grumpy now, other younger people will understand that horrible feeling one gets after gaming and being lazy, it’s like stewing in your own trash, it’s horrid. And today that is what happened. Me and my friend did go around and use his ripstick, which was good, but he got bored so we went to his and became slobs. Not my idea of fun.
I have found that the most comfortable positions to sleep in are those positions that you end up after a drunk night, say after clearing up after everybody, getting the camping gear back to their home, and then finally actually heading to my own home. It is at that point, shattered beyond belief, that anything is comfortable, and a hard surface is nicer than a soft one. Sleeping on a toilet is something special. Or stranger yet, sleeping on the pile of dirty clothing in the corner of my room, a metre from the bed. These sleeps are the most amazing rests I have ever had. Not that I have been drunk for a while, I am just tired and remembered the joy of nodding off in peculiar situations.

I Have Missed Biking!!!

For the past couple of months, my bike has been rotting away in the garage, slowly dying. Yesterday(Friday night) i had the urge to go for a bike ride, so I rode up the hill, then along to Helsby hill, then to the bottom of Helsby hill, remembered i forgot my coat that i left at the top, rode back up, rode to Hapsford, and then finally i rode home(along the hills which is more fun) All of this i did during the dark, accidentally. Golly gosh i have missed biking. At 10 O’clock riding down my hill, in pitch black except for the pitiful blue glow from my bike light, the wind streaming past my entire being; Heaven on earth.

As such, i decided to go for a ride today, all the way to Northwich, where my college is, the bus takes an hour to get there in the morning, it took me 50 minutes to bike there lazily…How does this work, it is both more expensive and slower to get the bus. I then set off home, and as i was passing the Supermarket in Northwich, i picked up some food. I don’t know Northwich good enough yet to know good parks where i was, but i saw a sign saying Anderton boat lift, why not go there to sit and eat. I thought that this would mean it would be quite close by…IT WASN’T. I had to bike about a mile and a half one-handed to get to a boat lift i could barely see because they have blocked it off to people who don’t want to go through the gift shop and info boards. Anyway, the extra-large profita-roles(i don’t know what they are called) were lovely. Setting off from the Anderton boat lift i decided to go in the direction of home rather than back to Northwich. I got very, very lost. I asked an old man for directions simply where the road went. But i got home, by a lovely route as well.

All in all, i have remembered the joys of biking, and will be biking more often in the future. It is also nice to do exercise again, the brain thinks clearer with better pumped blood.

Oh one last thing, i broke my bike a 5 minute walk from my house when i came back. I was so lucky that it broke then of all times, but still a bummer, i will fix it tomorrow in order to (maybe) bike to College.

College

So, i have finally figured out i can’t blog with a deadline, so i am not gonna. I will blog when i want. Apart from that, i am now in college, and loving it. i will go through a run down of it today.

I am going to Sir John Deane’s college, sixth-form only(Thank god, i do not like having little people running around me all the time) It is an hour long bus journey away, Horrible to get up to catch, but still worth it. The school itself has all the resources i need, it treets me in a way that makes me enjoy to learn. Having the possiblilty to go for walks in my frees is also liberating and helps me to relax, though carrying a heavy bag doesn’t help.

Sadly the weather recently has been terrible. Wet and cloudy all the time. i hate it. But its one of the cons to living in Britain(of which there are few) I do enh=joy putting down my thoughts.

On one last note, i have not been doing exercise for a while, i used to be a sit in my room gaming nerd, and for the past couple of weeks that is what i have become again. And i did not now how much i loved and relied on exercise to cheer me up.

Its Late, or is it Early

Yeah, its two in the morning, i can’t decide wether really late, or really early, either way i want to sleep. As such, i will write the story of prom in the morning(fresh mind, clearer story)

About the laziness, I lost, but I was able to do something with my day at least. I went to see my Great Grandma(her name is Vera) she is really starting to get old. I do love her though, I hope she can hang in for another 10 years, if I get my way I will have children(or child) by then, so she can see her great great grandchild, and i can tell the children that they had met their great great grandma. On the subject of family, I am very lucky in my life. I haven’t had a relative die during my lifetime, it is therefore something I will be unprepared for.

I also did a little free-running(by little I mean about 40-50 minutes) and i havn’t been doing it for ages so I am back to square one; figuring out my limits in accuracy and landing. I still enjoy it alot though.

I Have Gotten So Lazy

It’s true, i hate it. I am just so terrible, with so little willpower that i keep trying to, but am so bad at, changing. I keep telling myself ‘Dude. Tomorrow. I am gonna wake up early, help around the house, go out, exercise, DO SOMETHING’ and each morning i wake up, walk to my phone, turn off my alarm clock, and fall back into my bed until 12 o’clock. I have no reason to be energetic, no cause, no purpose to force me to get out of bed. But i am trying. And tonight I will tell myself the same thing, and i will hope that i will listen to myself.

Anyway, that rant is over, 3 weeks since last post, regular posting, woops, i forgot about that. Well, here goes to trying again. The last three weeks have been both eventful, and lacking anything of import. The first week after the post was amazing, I went to Wakestock, an amazing wake-boarding festival. And I had my prom, that was fun, not important, but definitely a night I will remember. But the two weeks after that I have done nothing, at all.

Well, first things first, Wakestock. Wakestock is a festival in North Wales, a 2hour30minute drive from where I live. It is situated between Pwllheli and Abersoch, which are on the south coast of the Llyn Peninsula. I don’t have any particular interest in wake-boarding, but one of my friends already bought a ticket(because it was cheap) so I went with him. It was a peculiar festival, because it is one of few big ones where they expect you to go offsite. One had to go to one of the two towns to see the big wake-boarding events, and these were both about 3+ miles down the road. The main advantage of this for us was that we could go to the supermarket for food rather than pay festival price(A definate necessity, I left the festival with only 75p)

We only saw the pro finals of the wake-boarding, we were more interested in what being at a festival had to offer(for the two people I went with, James and Dom, this was their first festival and it was my first where I was completely under my own jurisdiction) Dom and James became very drunk very quickly, Dom off the liqueur and James of the atmosphere. I on the other hand had a very fun time being the sober, making sure Dom didn’t die. The music at Wakestock was mostly new-age. Some pop, but mostly DJ’s twisting up favourite tracks(most used track by far was ‘Niggas In Paris’) or showing off some of their own. My favourite act was by far Calvin Harris(Dom wasn’t interested so missed out, and James was too tired so missed the second half, a sad mishap for both of them)

Nothing else of major import happened at The festival, except on the first night(before the Music had even started) 40mm of rain fell for 3 hours, dubbing Wakestock with the name Lakestock, and then Mudstock. Alot of the campers left because their tents couldn’t stand it(or they camped in what later became the middle of a lake) and stayed at hotels and camp-sites nearby, we were lucky in that we had one of the few blissfully dry spots.
